Is it weird to start with a pretty bathroom? Nevertheless.
I refuse to not have a bathtub. I live for baths. Showers are nice, but baths are something else entirely. What I really like about this, though, is the mirror. Mirrors always make a space look bigger, so I want as many of them as possible all over my place, even in the bathroom.
I like that this mirror is fancy, but the frilliness of it is muted by the bare wall and the faded whitewash of the frame. I have a feeling that most of my rooms are going to be as close to monochrome as humanly possible. Makes everything look bigger, especially in light colors!
I love the placement, which is at the foot of the tub. It makes great use of what would be an otherwise empty space, or where I’d be dumping all my bath things, and it opens up the room. The thing is, if mine is going to be a tub-slash-shower, the shower’s likely to be mounted to the wall on one end, and not a handheld on the side like this one.
Hmm.
